SUMMARY

The primary purpose of this position is to assist HCISD and its Local Education Agencies (LEAs) with professional development, training and integrated implementation support for literacy assessment, curriculum, and instructional practices within a Multi-tiered System of Supports (MTSS). This position will focus on serving the prekindergarten - twelfth grade levels.

 

In the course of achieving these outcomes, the person in this position will work as part of the HCISD Early Literacy Implementation Team under the supervision of the HCISD Education Specialist and in close collaboration with the local districts, MDE Consultants and with a variety of organizations and individuals such as the Michigan Department of Education, MiMTSS TA Center, other intermediate school districts and consortia, superintendents, administrators, teachers, board of education members and the community.

Salary Information

Salary will be determined as per the current bargaining agreement.

 

 

 

Employment Date and Work Year

Anticipated start date will be determined upon hire.  This is a position working 185 days per year (prorated based on start date).
